This is a Blog with a difference, as part of DCU training in Guidance and Counselling, I have put together lots of information on the topic of Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying. This information is intended for Students, parents and teachers alike. Lesson Plans for teachers, videos to watch for parents and students and useful websites for all who are interested. Cyber bullying will only be stamped out through Education, and the raising of awareness around Internet security. A special note to those sitting their Leaving Cert. exam in 2010, check out http://www.qualifax.ie/ a great site, it will give you all the information you need to fill out your CAO application form. Once on the site go to the students section and register.
The site also has a special section for parents, you know its a difficult time for parents too, they also experience intense feelings, they naturally worry about the futures of their children. So guys give them a break, introduce them to the parents section on the site, it will definitely help them chill. You never know it might even help them come around to your way of thinking!!!!!!
Keep reminding them, you will excel at what you enjoy the most, on the otherhand its a proven fact that most of us can do most occupations, so the skys the limit, keep up the study and see what happens, any questions you have, post them as comments and I will try to answer them.
